Children shape what they see inside the home. Children who come from stable married families are more likely to see positive exchanges and conflict resolution that help increase their social development. However, other students may not have this opportunity to see healthy relationships, so they may not learn these skills. Children who constantly hear fighting or see more negative exchanges than positive ones are likely to repeat it with their peers. They do not acquire the appropriate skills to create healthy relationships with peers. An example of this would be a student hearing arguments in their home over different things, the student is likely to argue with classmates over things whether it is a ball they have to share or a book. The student may become a bully in the sense of making sure to stay home
