The Ballon d'Or is an award given every year to the best footballer of the moment. It is defined based on the technical quality of the players, statistics and results of a natural year. Every year FIFA chooses 23 candidates to win the Golden Ball who are supposed to be the best on the entire planet. According to "FIFA" these will both be reduced to 3 players per prize, and will be announced at a later stage.
