The child I chose to write this assignment is 6 years old, which means grade 1. He lives with both parents and has a 15 year old sister and a brother 7 and a half years old. He owns a labrador dog named Mambo. He loves playing football and hockey as well as playing Wii with his whole family and watching action movies. He attends church about 5 times a year, usually on Christmas Eve, New Year's Eve and on his family's birthdays. During the interview, the child was distracted quite often, although he was still able to answer all these questions. Even though he seemed confused as he explained some of them as “What is God thinking now,” he was still sure about some of them as well, as he tried to explain that somehow God sees the best in us. The work indicated helped me understand how kids of his age think, and it also didn't make it that difficult to have the necessary requirements to carry out this project. This guy was happy to do this interview and did his best to answer all those questions. The questions he was most able to comment on in the greatest detail were "What is God like" as well as "What does God do" as in both questions he gave long answers, seemed sure of them and said them without any doubt. In both questions his answer was quite similar, he says that God is here to protect everyone, to help the sick and most importantly, that he cares for everyone. I assume this only because the child comes from a Catholic family where he was taught God's values and has faith in God. At one point during the interview the child contradicts himself, as soon as he was asked: What happens when someone dies , looked confused and said several answers about it. The answer I decide to write after all was when he said good people will go to heaven with him. I guess it's quite normal since it's quite young to know or think about this, but the guy kept trying to justify the question Even though I knew it wasn't asked as I was taking a break, he grabbed the paper and asked me why those questions were crossed. So I decided to ask him. I think one of the features that will enrich this analysis will be that he provided more details in each question, but as we know he is only 6 years old, so obviously I wasn't expecting long and very structured sentences.
