Decembrist Uprising The Russian rebels did not like the fact that the monarchy had all the power and that the peasants were treated very badly. It also started because a tsar's heir was supposed to become tsar, only he married a woman who didn't have enough royal blood, so they changed it. This was related to the Western world because they wanted to have a revolution like France and Britain. Except they split into two groups, one went south to Kiev, they were the group that wanted a republic as a government, like France, while the people in the north, in Russia, wanted to be like Britain. The British government was that there was still a queen and a king, but there was also a government. In the end, the five most important people of this revolution were hanged, but the ropes broke and they did not die, there is this rule that if you survive when you are hanged, you are free, but the tsar ignored this rule and they were hanged again, this, of which they died. It took time, just as many revolutions in the Western world did, but this one didn't get very far, there was supposed to be another one in 1917. February RevolutionThe Russians lost faith in the Tsar. The government was corrupt, money was losing value, there was inflation, and people were being used and barely making any money. It was a horrible lifestyle. The first revolution, the February Revolution, occurred after World War I, where Russia behaved so horribly that it surrendered. On March 8, 1917, 90 thousand men and women supported some people to protest against the Tsar, when the police came and asked them to leave the streets, they refused. They destroyed buildings such as police stations and took control of industries. On March 11, 1917, three days after the first action, more demonstrators took to the streets, this ti...... middle of paper ......the Tsar 20%. To end this battle and the war, Lenin had the Tsar surrender and Lenin had 100% of the land they started fighting for in 1825. Well, let's see how that happened, outside of war type thinking. This first meeting is important for Russia because it is the beginning of a very long and difficult revolutionary process. It's like most other revolutions in the West, especially in France, as far as I know. What I mean is that there is the first revolution, in this case it is the revolt of the Decembrists, the dictator says “Okay, I give up”. but then, a few years later, another dictator comes and takes power or the same dictator starts again what he had done before. In the land of Russia the tsars govern, then they are told that they do not govern correctly, they ignore it, kill the revolts and continue daily life. After about 90 years, the tsars begin what they had just done
