What is your favorite animal? I love all animals, but my first preference for an animal is a horse! There are many horse breeds in the world! Did you know that horses are used for many things? Horses are used for many things! One thing they are used for today is competition. Whether you are competing in equestrian sports or just racing for fun. Another thing horses are used for today is pleasure riding. When I say driving pleasure I mean simply going for a ride with your friends or just taking a break from whatever else you're doing. In the past, people used horses for the pleasure of riding, as we do today. We don't use them for agriculture as much as people did in the past. Back when we didn't have all the flashy technology to use for our armies, we used warhorses. One thing that is the same between today and the past is the excessive use of horses, as was done in the past. Some people wonder how long a horse's life is. The lifespan of each horse can vary depending on the breed. The most common lifespan is 25 to 33 years. Some horse breeds that live longer are Thoroughbreds, Quarter Horses, Warmbloods, Morgans, and Arabians. It may also depend on their health. If they are unhealthy or have an illness of some kind, they could die. You should take good care of your horse, so that it can have a longer life. Have you ever taken care of a horse? It takes a lot of work to take care of a horse. Just like us, horses need vaccines, but they need them regularly. Like all other animals, horses require veterinary care. They also require extra things like cleaning their feet. You need to do this on a six to eight week basis.
