In the end, a few things emerged that helped me make the right choice. First, it was the realization that fifteen years would not be wasted in a career I would never have again. It would be fifteen years of spiritual training for what God had planned for me in ministry. Second, the time spent watching my father deal with all the problems that came with church work was likened to that of an apprentice. I was able to take those lessons learned and apply them to my life and future ministry endeavors. Finally, money is not everything and God will always provide it to those in whom He fully trusts
