Health informatics developed in response to the desire to apply and explore new tools for better healthcare (2). In the 17th century, Wilhelm Von Liebnitz promoted the idea that it might be possible to represent the entire nature of human behavior in a categorized form. This principle forms the basis on which many programmers and software developers view coding. During the 19th century, Charles Babbage created a mechanical device aimed at solving mathematical problems that became known as the first computer even though it was not actually successful. In 1890, Herman Hollerith developed a punch card system to handle U.S. census data that demonstrated the efficiency of microchip-free technology. This was the primary form of data entry until the 1960s(1). The first electronic computer was developed in the 1940s, known as ENIAC. It occupied a large room and ran on valves with massive power consumption. Post-World War II computers increased in speed, capacity, and reliability, while decreasing in size. The mainframe computer system, a central computer with intelligence...
