What does it really mean to be a teacher? Many of us have had a teacher our whole lives, and not just in school but in life as well. Teaching is a very substantial responsibility because the lessons taught will stick with some people forever and teachers can have a very big impact on someone's life. life. I have had many teachers over the years and have learned a lot from some of them, and while work may come in abundance, I want to be the one who impacts and changes people's lives. There is much more to being a teacher than just teaching, they perform many other functions which they follow with authority. For each individual course, high school teachers will develop a course syllabus that outlines the topics that must be taught within a quarter, semester, or year. Additionally, high school teachers create daily lesson plans for each course and prepare lesson plans for a specific class such as math, English, science, history, etc. During a class period, they complete attendance tasks, collect homework, review the previous day's lesson, present new lessons through the tactic that the teacher deems most suitable. Another responsibility of teachers is to verify students' understanding of concepts and skills through written and/or oral exercises assigned by the teacher; teachers will also assign tests, quizzes, homework and class assignments. Personally, the most enjoyable responsibilities are working with children, helping them learn, and teaching them skills and tools to use later in life. Although I wouldn't particularly like to grade all the tests, quizzes, assignments, etc. When a student performs poorly on a test or any other assigned work, the result is a lowering of the student's grade and perhaps even a failure... half of the paper ......d for teachers. The social needs of being a teacher include communication skills, patience, tolerance, resourcefulness, and the ability to speak publicly in front of an entire class. I think this career could work for me because I like working with children and I'm already used to school schedules. It's a stable job and the pay is good enough for me to make a living, I also enjoy working with and around people and being social. Living in New Jersey can be expensive, so I need a career that can support me. I am funny, kind and patient, so I can work well with people and I want to educate young children. I think being a teacher would also be a learning experience for me too and this career will provide me enough money and also provide me benefits and I want to become more organized and resourceful and I believe this job can really help me with that.
