God wanted the best for man. As the creator, He knows what is best for His creation. Some of His consequences may seem harsh, but as a father He was trying to teach His children how to live godly. He uses promises and consequences to teach His children, just as we do to teach our children. The only way to have a relationship with Him is to remain holy. These two chapters help the reader understand holiness and its importance. The teachings and practices are significant today because we need to make sure we stick to the same set of laws and morals. If all people lived without rules and laws, the world would become chaos. Above all, these teachings help us understand the importance of being holy. It is essential that man has a relationship with God to have eternal life. To do this we must be sure that our relationship with Him is holy. Because if it's not, then we're not truly loving
