They think that different cultural backgrounds are the main factor of conflict between the local population and immigrants. This background includes religion, race, and general public perception. Mumbai, the largest city in India, experienced a major conflict due to the religious issue and nearly 600 people died (“National Border Identity Conflict”). But as time goes by, conflicts will disappear by understanding each other. And with the development of globalization, more and more immigrants will be admitted to other countries. Cultural exchange and integration will become the main theme between the local population and migrants in the future. It is also an irresistible trend and governments should consider how to reduce the resistance of cultural exchanges and help maintain social stability. Furthermore, if governments refuse to welcome migrants due to security concerns, it means that they are rejecting many development opportunities for their countries. Some people who dare to change their lives want to migrate and can bring a positive attitude to local development. For example, a Whitehouse ad shows that immigrants have not only brought more opportunities to America, but have also kept America younger (“Ten Way Immigrants Help Build and Strengthen Our Economy,” Jason Furman). It is also positive feedback for the company. Migration does not have a huge impact on local markets, wages and security issues. On the contrary, migration will bring some benefits to local development. Immigrants start the business to provide some opportunities to local residents and spread an updated spirit to the local people. In general, although immigration has some negative effects on the local population, the benefits produced by immigrants outweigh these disadvantages. Governments should consider how immigrants obtain certain benefits instead of limiting them
