Short Term Goals: One of my short term goals includes eating only one junk food a day, and in case I want more, I replace it with a serving of fruit or maybe even a granola bar. Another short-term goal includes tracking how less junk food intake affects my body and energy as I begin to cut back. Ideas and changes: Currently, the main factor that pushes me to proceed is the idea of seeing the effect cutting down on junk food has on me. For example, whenever I'm stressed I resort to eating all these unhealthy treats and as a result I break out. I would like to see if all the junk food I consume could be a result of escapism. Another factor is to see if junk food has an effect on energy exertion. After consuming certain junk, I feel empty. As of now, these are the two main reasons that drive me to pursue this target behavior. Rewards and Reward Frequency: At the end of this project, I intend to treat myself to a spa day. I also have a weekly reward: if I follow my plan, at the end of each week I will put aside $5 in an envelope. Support
