There are some people who didn't do very well in elementary school. Some may even have dropped out of school. But don't worry, because college can be like a second chance. There are many things that university can offer. It can give someone a college degree or help them get back on their feet. College can open doors to things that high school never did, like getting a new job, how to keep it, and how to earn more money. It can also help an individual examine topics in more depth. Personally I hope this happens to me. I'm not doing very well in high school, but I'm not doing badly either. My parents aren't proud of it. They expect me to be a straight A student, but I struggle to meet their expectations. It makes my parents be stricter towards me. However, I hope that once I start working full time at a college, I can do better than I did in high school for a few reasons. For the first reason, I want to have a better relationship with my parents. I want my mother and father to see that I am successful. Secondly, I want to graduate for my own good. Finally, I want to have a good future for myself. I don't want to do a job that is difficult and stressful physically and mentally. My parents always tell me to do well in college so I don't have to do difficult jobs like they do, which is laying bricks and welding.
