Arundhati Roy, a famous Indian author best known for her novel "The God of Small Things", leads a collection of her essays to become known as "The Algebra of Infinite Justice". He had experience in acting, architecture and finally writing. She has dedicated herself to political activism and as a spokesperson for the “anti-globalization and anti-globalization movement.” According to Arundhati America goes to war and cannot back out unless it ends up with a losing side, and when there is no enemy the American government will create one to satisfy its own arms business and the angry citizens who have been affected from terrorism. President Bush during his presidency described America's enemies as "enemies of freedom", but this freedom is only for their people. This idea has put the thought in the heads of Americans that “The American Way of Life” is the only right way and that anyone who opposes it is an enemy or a terrorist. The writing of the article is strong, makes the reader as passionate about the topic as she is, and evokes a response from the reader. It opens the eyes of the readers to see the issue of other groups on the global and international issue raised by her. In his writings he shows his anger towards terrorism, globalization, nuclear disarmament and global capitalism. Throughout the essay Roy induces in the reader the feeling of having to have an opinion on the topic and uses it to his advantage. Roy makes the main point of the essay, which is that the foreign policy undertaken by the US government around the world to promote the American way of life is why Americans are hated and not the fact that people are hated. And that these policies are the reason why terrorism around the world is targeting... at the center of the card... information regarding both sides. However, the approach taken by Roy keeps the audience hooked and hence there was no need to convince them as it was full of pathos. Roy raised the issues we found with these policies and asked questions that left readers wondering many things, yet he provides no solution to the problem and simply leaves it up to the reader's imagination. All the typical television stations across America never thought to tell the story of America's participation in Afghanistan when 9/11 occurred. Therefore, for people who were in the shadow of the truth, the coverage of the attacks would have been emotional, disturbing and would have made people hate jihad. However, to people familiar with the story, the coverage was offensive and just plain wrong, yet no one spoke out against it and many died because of it..
