Even in Ethiopia, these services are expected to be rendered by municipalities/local governments in the context of decentralization. Therefore, the practice of good governance principles in Bonga municipal administration will be evaluated based on accountability and transparency, rule of law, control of corruption, participation, responsiveness and security which are the main attributes of good urban governance. The adequacy and quality of water services and dry waste collection services will also be assessed to examine people's access to these vital services.
