Topic > Benefits of Wireless Technology - 1667

Assumptions This study has four assumptions. First, teachers will gain basic understanding of the benefits of wireless technology and take an intuitive approach to integrating it into their teaching practices. Second, the presented assessment is receptive enough to assess teachers' technological aptitudes. Third, the participant sample's responses will be honest and accurate. Finally, explore and determine whether you need to offer advanced technology training initiatives. Limitations The limitations are as follows: The amount of time the researcher has to conduct this study. The other limitation is the researcher's inability to accurately assess the amount of time teachers will spend using an online network. The next limitation is location, a rural school system and not a suburban or urban school system. The XYZ system under consideration has only four schools. The final limitation is teachers' use of available technology within their classroom due to possible technophobia, lack of training and/or skills. Therefore, based on the quantitative nature of the study, this investigation is better suited to present a more complete account of teaching-learning with wireless laptops in K-12 classrooms, as opposed to a qualitative or mixed-method investigation of the phenomenon (Leedy & Ormrod, 2010). However, the use of a self-report questionnaire also assumes that participants provide truthful responses from a one-shot posttest (Leedy & Ormrod, 2010). Purpose The purpose of this study relates to the research question: “Teachers' attitudes toward technology, including their enthusiasm and curiosity to use it in their teaching, effectively impact the integration of wireless laptops into. .. paper classrooms. The purpose of this quantitative, pre-experimental study will examine whether XYZ teachers are curious and eager to improve their technology skills 2 will review the literature of various scholars, books, articles and journals which provide the account of the problem and the conceptual framework of this study. In chapter 3, the methodology of the research will be explained, including design, sample, environment, instrumentation, data collection, treatment, data analysis, validity, reliability and ethical considerations In chapter 4 the results of the study will be presented. Finally, Chapter 5 discusses the findings, implications for social change, and recommendations for future research.
