Literature Review: There are so many reports of workplace or organizational stress. One could easily conclude that everyone, everywhere, is depressed and discouraged. Every employee feels stress related to their job. Many employees complain about their jobs, their bosses, and their subordinates. Therefore it became necessary to ease the pressure enough to allow workers to calm down and return to work stress-free. Workplace stress has been on the rise for many years, but management doesn't take it seriously (Ira S. Wolfe). Stress is a condition that occurs when you realize that the pressures on yourself or that the demands of a situation are greater than your own needs. recognition that I can handle. If these requirements continue for a longer period of time without any interval, mental, physical or other problems may occur (Health & Safety Executive UK). Stress is an individual's reaction to an environmental force that affects individual performance. (Kahn et al. 1964 & Selye, 1956) Workplace stress has also been viewed as dysfunctional for organizations, their employees, and managers (Wolfe, Quinn, Kahn, Snoek, & Rosenthal, 1964). There is a link between anxiety, stress and employee satisfaction and performance. Reducing anxiety and stress improves employee performance (Donnelly & Ivancevich, 1975). For the current study, stress was conceptualized as consisting of four psychiatric conditions that reduce employee job performance. One is depression (feeling lonely, fed up, dejected and loss of sexual desire) the second is anxiety (frequency of complaints, acidity in the stomach, feeling weak or slightly dizzy, shaking hands, feeling of fear and avoidance of things) .
