This is not true. It is logical to say that when teenagers come home from school, they want to change out of the clothes they were forced to wear to school. Well, what will they turn into? They will want clothes of their choice. This means that parents should still provide their children with clothes that fit current trends, and they should also purchase a separate set of clothes for them to wear to school every day. Not only are current trends expensive, but school uniforms are just as expensive. Some people cannot afford to buy uniforms for school. Some people may not even be able to go to school due to the cost of uniforms. This is unfair to kids who want to go to school and get a good education but can't due to the high cost of uniforms. While it is possible that some teenagers may not want designer clothes in addition to their school uniform, this is very unlikely. Bottom line, students in our public schools should not be forced to wear uniforms. This is because they take away the student's freedom of expression and sense of individuality and do not save families money. There are already many restrictions for students. These rules and regulations are acceptable because they help maintain order on a daily basis. However, mandating the use of school uniforms would not be a useful regulation.
