CSR is all about people and when employees are involved in CSR and sustainability, it will shape their behavior and thinking, allowing their companies to emerge in new ways to solve current business problems and generate new opportunities (Azada & Rochte, 2013). Planet means determining organizational environmental outcomes (Goel, 2010). A responsible environmental policy is critical to long-term business success as it reduces operational impact on the Earth; businesses can hope to limit the harmful effects of their own “footprint” and help reduce the upward trend of global warming for generations to come (McDermott, 2009). Slaper & Hall, 2011 state that having long-term trends available for each environmental variable would help companies recognize the effects that a policy or project would have on the region.
