Placing condom dispensers on campus was as ruinous at first as a great decision. But what does college look like? Yes, protecting students from illness is important. Or it's too nice for the college to get involved in the personal lives of its students. I disagree with the college's decision to install dispensers in campus bathrooms. Relationship is a sensitive and conflicting decision; most people don't like to discuss that part of their lives. A decision like this can cause quite a few problems between the college and its students. The decision to take this action can cause a financial burden, the way college will be viewed, and take responsibility away from students. The financial angle in this situation is that a parent might think the college is positioning vending machines to increase sexual activity. The student cannot have relationships on campus; So what's the point of having dispensers? “U.S. Representative Tom Coburn attacked this conclusion, arguing that distributing condoms in schools conflicts with “common sense” and increases condom use but does not necessarily lead to lower rates of pregnancy or disease sexually transmitted. The implementation of abstinence education in schools, he argued, was followed by lower rates of out-of-wedlock teen pregnancy.” Having condoms can push students to explore and cause them a dilemma. Asking students to secretly find places on campus to have sex. If the student has the newly purchased condom in the bathroom, what makes the college think he won't use it at that time? Or what if the student lives in a family where the relationship is serious and would not want to expose their young adult to that type of environment. Most college students are 18 years old or older. But what if their religious beliefs became a factor in this situation? If the student is sexually active, I believe they can purchase their own condoms. Not all students have the same maturity level. So putting condoms in bathrooms creates a bad image for the college. However, having a condom dispenser in Camden County restrooms
