When we as college students look for a career to join, it's important to grow and make contacts in that field rather than just going to school and not building a network. One way to help build and grow a resourceful network is to communicate with those who are currently working in your planned field or who have had previous experience in that field. This way you are not only able to gain a lot of information, but you are also able to get a better idea if this is something they want to pursue as a career.
