“Carpe Diem” translated to “seize the day” or “seize the day” has many definitions but in the following paragraphs there will be two definitions which will show my understanding of "Carpe Diem." In this stanza the sun is related as time and when the sun becomes higher the time is running out and those precious moments should be utilized. In conclusion there are similarities between “Carpe Diem” poems and modern music. For example both can be used to express how you feel. Furthermore, both poetry and modern music gradually tell the subject what he wants or what he should do.
