Last date to register for CA Foundation for the May 2018 attempt: December 31, 2017 Last date for registering for CA Foundation for the November 2018 attempt: June 30, 2018 Eligibility criteria for CA Foundation Any student who has taken the course The 12th examination conducted by a statutory testing body in India (or an examination perceived by the Central Government as identical to it) allows enrollment in the Foundation Course. An enrolled student may attempt the Foundation Examination after qualifying the Senior Secondary Examination* (10+2 examination) conducted by a statutory testing body in India (or an examination perceived by the Central Government to be equivalent) and complying with such prerequisites which may be determined by the Board from time to time. Any student who has enrolled on the Foundation Course and has studied for at least four months is qualified to sit for the Foundation Exam, i.e. student registered no later than 30 June/31 December will be qualified to appear separately for the November/May exam. Foundation exams take place regularly in May and November. Graduate/Graduate students with pre-defined minimum marks or equivalent mark in the examination conducted by any recognized university (including Open University) or intermediate level examination who have passed the students of Institute of Cost Accountants of India or Institute of Company Secretaries of India is exempted from passing the Foundation Course.
