Absenteeism has become a growing problem. As students trump teachers, vice principals and parents worry. They don't think students have enough responsibility to stay out of trouble. The truth is that only a few students who truant do not have a responsibility to stay out of trouble. Absenteeism is the act of deliberately missing one or more classes. Currently, about 50% of sailors in the Granite District are marinating again. Ten percent of students arrested in Utah for dropping out of school truant again. Furthermore, very few students who suffer from slough participate in illegal activities. The mutation is too much of a concern for parents and teachers. Say no to plagiarism. Get an Original Essay Student sailors without the responsibility to make their own decisions will go out to smoke, vandalize personal property, or shoplift. It is those few, without the responsibility to make their own decisions, who should be punished. Students who strip, smoke, or steal things should be arrested and tried as adults. The students who commit the crimes think that they are responsible enough to make their own decisions like an adult and that they should be responsible enough for the consequences that an adult would receive. Some of my friends would get naked and go to lunch, go to one of their houses and enjoy a good game or sleep. They didn't go out and destroy other people's things or steal things. They did nothing wrong, one of them lost his life almost every day of the first term and passed all but two of his classes. He almost got kicked out of high school because he was having fun at his house or getting something to eat. Just a student who hated the thought of going to school and wouldn't go to school for 3 years. That student was the only one spoken to who actually broke any laws while skipping school. That individual, while undressing, was arrested for shoplifting. That certain individual is the only one who ever did anything illegal while destroying the school. That one in seven have ever broken the law while undressing. If the student misses school and fails his or her classes, then you need to talk to him or her. The student should not be expelled from school because that will only make things worse. It would make the student not want to go to school because they would be in a new and strange school. The main reason why truant students skipped school was that they didn't like school. The second main reason why students didn't go to school was that they simply didn't care about school. For them, school was just a chore and they didn't see the point. If they made school a little more interesting and fun perhaps there would be fewer unjustified absences. The administration does not see the solution to the absence of unjustified absences in this way. They think that strength is the only way when in reality it is the wrong way. If you force a student to do something, he will not be successful in school. Another common reason was that truant students were addicted to the joys of skipping school. There were many other reasons why students skipped school, including the famous "senioritis," the idea that seniors were tired of school and found something better to do during school time. The other is that they were too tired to go to school. They went with their car, the vans, or with the cars of some friends, the vans. Also, if they didn't have a ride or a car, they would gowherever they wanted to go on foot. Transportation didn't matter, as long as they didn't have to go to class and could do something else besides sit in the hard chair at school. When truant students lost weight, the most common activity was eating breakfast and/or lunch. and sleep. If the teaching staff were to extend lunch a little and start school a little later, perhaps there would be a little less unjustified absences. Some of the activities the student sailors took part in were getting paid, taking care of things that needed to be taken care of that day but not enough time to do it after school. Another couple watched movies with friends and played video games. Some of the reasons why truant students would quit truant or some students wouldn't even cut out in the first place is that they wanted to graduate. The students who attended the school also liked not having to wait for the "call" after school. Some students would never lose weight because they know they couldn't stop once they started. It is extremely difficult to stop shedding once it starts. Another reason why students didn't like slough is that they didn't like teachers or principals talking to them when they came back. They would ask, “Where have you been” or “What did you do last hour, did you have fun?” The students did not like lying to the faculty and when they returned home they thought that the parents knew nothing about their teenager's mutation, but they usually did. Furthermore, when they were taught by their parents they would not be happy and it would not be worth having fun during the day. Some students who would not have lost their work would not have done so because they did not want to make up the work they had missed while they were away. Some of the students who would have lost out, once they returned to school, had higher self-esteem and you meet new people and may find that some of your classes like them too. There is a school for truant students who will not go to school. It's called Independence. The school has extremely strict discipline. The principals name is Greg Hudnall. Greg Hudnall and Kay Lindsay created the school's program. When a student sailor is arrested, the school he or she attends is notified as are the student's parents. While the student waits for his parents to take him back to school, the student will attend a class at Independence. The second time a student comes, arrested documents are reviewed and lessons are changed if the current lessons were too difficult for the student. The third arrest results in automatic enrollment at Independence School. Each class has a teacher and an adult assistant who helps follow the lesson. This ensures that there will be less harm going on because they will have twice as many eyes watching the class. Any student will never be alone. If a student wants to go to the bathroom, the whole class will go to the bathroom with him. The class is designed for expelled students and chronic sailors. Ed thinks this school is great for students who would like to go there. If they want to stop shedding but can't do it themselves, then this would be a place to check out. They shouldn't be forced to go to this school if they don't want to go. If a student doesn't want to go to school they probably won't, there is no way to force a person to do something they don't want to do. A student was sent to Independence in September 1999. The student didn't want to go to school, so the mother called a former football player to come get her son out of bed and drag him to school. The student did not have time to change or get ready. The police officer pulled him out and dragged him to schoolwithout warnings or other options. This is wrong. You should not physically abuse the child and embarrass him by preventing him from changing so that he can go to school. If the child doesn't change, he or she will distract other students from their learning experience. In Sweetwater, Texas, 3 mothers were ordered to go to school with their daughters for a week. If mothers did not go to school with their daughters, they would be fined $150 to $250 for allowing their daughter to skip school. Terry Pitman was the assistant principal of the school and they said all the mothers went to school with their daughters for the entire week. If students were to lose weight again, the student could be held in “contempt of court” and sent to Juvenile Hall for skipping school while on probation. Sending parents to school with teenagers is a good idea. The bad part is what would happen if the mother was the only source of income. What would happen to the family's financial situation if they lost an entire week's income? Mothers should only go to school with their teenage children if they are not their sole source of income. Four students had to go to Juvenile Hall because they were defecating while on probation. Another student who was arrested for flaking was not eligible for parole. That student had been sent directly to Juvenile Hall. Sending teenagers directly to Juvenile Hall is not a good idea because it takes up space in prison cells. The country needs those cells to house more prisoners. The teen should have at least a chance at probation before being sent straight to prison. Furthermore, it is not the state's concern to send a student to prison who trumps school. Especially when it takes the student away from the school he or she is supposed to attend. This defeats the purpose of keeping children in school. There is another punishment for a student who trumps Potter County by wearing pink shirts. Marvin Mitchell, one of Potter County's justices of the peace, sees the T-shirts as a last resort. The front of the pink shirt says, "Don't be like me." On the back it says: "Because of his truancy, Ed is at risk of dropping out of school, becoming involved in a gang, using or selling drugs, becoming a criminal, and being incarcerated. Four students were d agreed with the proposed plan, three people disagreed and two people were undecided The way Marvin Mitchell would like to handle the absenteeism problem is to talk to the students and if that doesn't work, he would try to do something else. The fact is that if the students wanted him to talk to them, then they would talk to him. Among the students Ed had talked to, the most common excuse was “the dialer must be broken.” Some other common excuses given to parents are: “ the teacher didn't see me", "I was late, I guess he didn't see me coming late". The boldest one of all was: don't worry, it's okay, trust me. All these excuses they were used to help parents not worry too much about what the teenager was doing doing while the student sailor was not at school. The last one, “it's okay, don't worry, it's okay, trust me,” would be the one parents should appreciate the most, but most of the time that just gets you in trouble. If you use excuses like: the phone dialer is broken, sometimes it will work, and which excuse works depends on whether other schools call your house the way Hillcrest calls Ed's house. West Jordan's phone dialer called his house even on Thanksgiving. Not to Ed's parentsit matters if the dialer calls again. They will check the degree of potency. When a parent is paranoid about the student losing his skin, and then gets a call from the school, the student will automatically get yelled at by the parents even before the parents ask the student whether he skipped school or not. The best reason Ed could think that Ed would give a teacher for morning lessons is that his alarm didn't go off and Ed didn't wake up until late in the morning. The excuse Ed always gave in later classes was that there was a railroad crossing and Ed couldn't get on the train. Most of the time the excuses seemed to work. Sometimes the teachers could have cared less. The only downside is that no matter what excuse you gave them, if you didn't have an excuse from the office, they usually wouldn't let you make up the work you missed. The teachers didn't really seem to care much if I deleted their class, some teachers would think their class wasn't good enough and would try to change it. The truth is, at that time we just didn't want to go to class. My personal parents, when Ed lost weight and they found out, always gave me lessons. Sometimes Ed would listen and not shed for a couple of days, then Ed would shed again and we'd start fighting again. Ed would pay absolutely no attention to what his parents say. Then he would say that they are trying to control him when this is just a way of trying to show them that Ed has a responsibility to do what is right for his personal well-being. Whenever we tried to talk about his mutation problem, it always seemed like we were attacking what Ed valued most, himself, by saying that Ed was throwing away his future. Ed would get defensive and say his parents know nothing. This would have made his parents even more angry and his mother would have burst into tears. Ed didn't care because he was extremely angry at his parents for telling me what was best for him when they knew nothing about what was going on inside him. Then finally, when the vice principal called me, they were about to give up. That's what Ed wanted, Ed didn't want them to worry about what Ed did at school. One individual said that as he stripped he was more of a jerk, had less money and didn't get along with his parents. When he stopped losing his skin he wasn't a jerk anymore, he felt better about himself and got along better with his parents. When Ed stripped, it was to relieve stress; therefore, Ed was a much calmer person who could handle any stress at any time, thanks to Ed not worrying about school. The worst part of the loss was the money Ed spent on gas, food, and other purchased items. If Ed hadn't lost ground, he probably wouldn't have had so many financial problems. Ed also became extremely irritable with his parents. And yet he didn't suffer from road rage, stress from work or home. As Ed undressed, Ed felt like a better person. Although the peeling affected two people, there was one person it had no effect on. It didn't bother him that he was shedding his skin, nor did the wetsuit relieve his stress because he didn't have any. The one thing that has manifested itself in each of us is the tendency to be a little lazy when it comes to things that we didn't think were really necessary. There is evidence that the mutation could be positive for the mental state of some people and have completely opposite effects on others. It is up to the individual to decide if it is what the student needs to be a better and more student.
