Nearly nine out of ten teenagers make themselves vulnerable to endless health risks just by staying up late at night. As Ruthann Richter argues, “Sleep deprivation increases the likelihood that adolescents will suffer myriad negative consequences, including inability to concentrate, poor grades, drowsy driving accidents, anxiety, depression, suicidal thoughts, and even attempted suicide. suicide". Obviously, when a student is tired in the morning, he will not be able to adequately perform his school work. As far as mental health risks go, lack of sleep starts a dangerous and life-threatening pattern. Once a teenager is depressed, anxious, or thinking about harming themselves due to sleep deprivation, it is tremendously difficult to get them out of that rut. These diseases that started from lack of sleep will now prevent them from resting. When this happens, their condition will continue to worsen until it becomes irreversible. We cannot allow our friends and colleagues to slip into this life of desperation just because they are wasting precious time
