My personal thought when I observed children playing, they choose what they want to play with, what to add or remove. They have new ideas and hold other children's hands to join in the game. There were two boys playing with legos, one of the boys said, "I'm building a space ship" and the other boy smiled and said, "Look at mine, I'm building a robot that looks like my brother" . The kids who played used a variety of colors in different ways to create their ideal creation. They invent their own dance steps, hand and head movements during the game. On the sand table, the children used the materials to figure out different ways to drive their vehicles while talking to each other. On the water table, children add various materials using many techniques to make the water flow. Playing with sand and water will develop and strengthen fine motor skills and eye coordination while playing, such as pouring, squeezing, rubbing, digging and scooping. Children will learn about flow, volume, measurement, comparison, observation, counting, shapes and concept. Children will engage in conversation, cooperating, interacting, taking turns, sharing and developing language skills. Children use all their senses to manipulate toys, developing their creativity and interaction with others. Additionally, the game helps kids explore different types of textures from smooth, rough, grainy, soft, fluffy and hard. Obviously, play helps children build strength in their entire body, and it also enriches their knowledge in thinking about how things work or why things don't work. Provides opportunities to engage in risky adventures during challenging gameplay.
