People cannot escape advertising no matter where they go or what they do because it is literally everywhere. With colors, music and other children in advertisements it is easier to capture the target audience which in this case is children. Kids can't escape advertising because it's everywhere they turn. Advertisements for unhealthy foods are everywhere. They are on billboards, television, computers, magazines, newspapers and more. In sight and in mind. The more harmful advertisements children see, the more harmful foods they will want. “The more they watch television, the fatter they get.” ("The reasons for obesity"). If only advertising of unhealthy foods were no longer allowed, perhaps people would see a change in the number of childhood obesity cases. Parents should limit the time children spend watching television and using electronic devices to decrease the number of unhealthy food advertisements they see and to encourage the consumption of healthier foods. The bad eating habits that some parents have passed on to their children are completely hidden. It is an unfortunate excuse for a child's obesity due to his parents' eating habits. A child should not suffer for his parents' mistakes.
