Plantinga explains how those who simply accept what God has called us to do on his Earth are good citizens of the Kingdom of Heaven. He also says that those who are passionate about God's calling to us are first citizens. The main goal of all Christians is to become first citizens. Plantinga also frames it as someone who is a first citizen is a person with the calling to bring the kingdom of God to Earth. This was a comfort and a challenge for me. It was a comfort because I felt like I could feel like I had found my calling. My calling, together with all Christians, is to advance the kingdom of God and bring it to Earth. This includes my work at JP. This is where the challenge lies. The challenge is that now I have to try to be a first citizen at work and everywhere I go in my life. Even if I am not explicitly talking about God or Jesus Christ, I must let my actions be evidence of my primary citizenship with God.
