The Moon Landing Was Not a Hoax Some Americans are now asking, "Was the Moon Landing a hoax?" Is it actually possible? Would the United States government lie to our nation, let alone the entire world? The answer, no, should pop up. The Hoax Believers (HB) thought they had done extensive research and obtained enough evidence to prove that the Moon landing was a hoax, but they don't know Jack! Their whole case can be compared to a brick house with one difference. The bricks appear to have all the angles, sides and shape of a house. The evidence appears to be very strong, but the building blocks are only one-dimensional. All the "alleged" evidence collapses after a little research. In this report I will show the falsified case of HB along with the truth. One of the best known theories states that there is no explosion crater on the Moon. In the photos showing the landing of the Lunar Lander, under the Lander's rockets there should be a small crater caused by the 10,000 pounds of thrust produced by the rockets, right? Wrong! "When someone driving a car parks, does it do so at 100 kilometers per hour? Of course not. They slow down first by lowering the accelerator. Astronauts have done the same thing" (Bad). The Lander slowed to about 3,000 pounds of thrust. Furthermore, many believe that the rocket's thrust would penetrate the area directly beneath it, but they are wrong! Since the Moon has no air, due to the absence of an atmosphere, a vacuum is present. This means that the Lander pressure spreads (bad). The next theory also has to do with the air on the Moon. Another claim that has been made is that Neil Armstrong's footprint would be indistinguishable. Imagine dumping a bunch of dust on the kitchen... in the middle of the paper... so why don't they get some proof that it actually has some validity. At first, I wasn't sure what to think. When I first saw a Fox story attempting to persuade viewers that the moon landing was a hoax, I decided to do some research on this whole hoax theory. After reviewing numerous articles and websites, I concluded that HBs were absolutely wrong! Many of their theories are easily disproved and are quite ridiculous after a short analysis. Also, it seems pretty scandalous that the government spent billions of dollars on a bunch of bullshit. How on earth could such a huge conspiracy have remained hidden after 30 years with so many people involved? Bibliography: Works Cited "Bad Astronomy".
