Dancing TeePees by Virginia Driving Hawk Sneve was an amazing book I came across. This was probably the most interesting multicultural book I have ever read. This book was about Native American culture, it was full of songs, lullabies and poems. These poems along with the illustrations are very accurate and realistic. It's simply a little look at the wonderful culture of Native Americans, it doesn't discriminate or stereotype. The second book, All for the Better by Nicholasa Mohr, is a multicultural Puerto Rican-American book. The protagonist Evelina moves from Puerto Rico to New York. This book tells his story of how he helped his family get what they deserve, among many other accomplishments. The part of this book that I liked the most is the fact that it is non-fiction and that the back of the book had notes on life achievements that were not mentioned in the book. This book is fun for most children to read and shows them the struggles people go through just to get what they deserve. It helps them empathize with others and appreciate the hard work of
