Charles DickensCharles Dickens is known to be one of the world's greatest writers of his time. His works were not very similar to other works. His works are more like life stories and life experiences. These are some of the things that influenced Charles Dickens' writing. Much of Charles Dickens' life experience was incorporated into his works. He was kind of a rough child and you could tell by reading some of his major works like; Oliver Twist, Hard Times and A Tale of Two Cities.Charles John Hiffam Dickens was born on 7 February in the year 1812. His parents were Elizabeth and John Dickens. Dickens' early childhood was indeed harsh. When his father was sent to prison the family struggled with money, so Dickens started his first job at the age of 12. This made him feel abandoned and may even have helped his writing improve. From a difficult past, Dickens had helped him understand the lower class and its comic genius. Which helped him write Oliver Twist. At the time he began writing A Tale of Two Cities he was going through a divorce. Writing this book made him feel like a better person. Dickens wrote primarily about the poverty he had seen and experienced in his life. At the age of 12 Dickens' father, John Dickens, was sent to prison for failing to pay his debt. So, to help his family, Dickens went to get a job in a factory. He polished and shined shoes and earned one dollar and fifty cents a week. The family also had to stay in the factory. This gave Dickens the first experience to understand that some children cannot receive a proper education. After a few years he was able to resume his studies at Wellington House Academy for three years. (Grade Saver)After a tumultuous childhood, Dickens devoted himself to...... middle of paper......no one else's point of view because his works are based on someone's real-life experiences who have come to change England like a hole. Dickens has many important works because of the way he expanded his writing styles and the way he can hold the reader's attention and make you feel like the readers are in the story and imagining some of the things he talks about. It can also give the reader understanding of some people's struggle in life. Even though Dickens didn't have the best life or make the best choices. He can honestly say he could have learned from it. A Tale of Two Cities is a book that people have come to appreciate, try reading it and see where it takes you. In conclusion, Dickens did not turn out to be that bad. It seems like he had a rocky start, but everything still worked out in his favor. He had 10 beautiful children and a happy career, who could have asked for anything better.
