Sometimes people tend to neglect their needs due to their desires, an example is people who buy new electronic devices instead of paying bills, thus choosing something materialistic instead of satisfying one's basic wants and needs. Those in serious financial difficulty are the most vulnerable and risk falling into the feeling of having to prove they have money. People would happily spend their money during the holiday season by placing gifts under the tree, no matter how much they spend and how it might cause the family to have to pay money. Don't focus on the new shoes or car but invest that money to improve yourself and help you fill the financial hole you may find yourself falling into?
