One of the largest and growing career fields in the United States is the military, whether it's the Marines, Air Force, Navy, or Army, each offers a wide variety of job opportunities, some general and others more specific for a specific professional field such as medicine or mechanics. However, in order to join the armed forces first, it is necessary to take the ASVAP which is a general test that covers various areas from mathematics to English to basic knowledge. Each branch has a set score which is the minimum score required to enlist, some are higher some are lower and it varies based on the branch. The higher a person's score, the better career opportunities available to them. The lower the score you will be confined to smaller, more general job opportunities. Once your ASVAP is passed and approved, you are given a due date for basic training that everyone must take before being a full member of the military and being assigned to that career field.
