It is too difficult to change your level on the scale and you have to constantly work to make a difference in your situation. Additionally, people are stereotyped and placed into social groups based on qualities, such as race and other physical qualities. Once you enter these groups, it is very difficult to break stereotypes and make a career in the world. These discriminated against people will start to think they can't leave their place, so they create a mindset that tells them they can't move. This mindset can cause people to lose the will to try to be more successful.
