While this situation may seem unnerving to some, for me it is a normal night at OSEP. Last year I gave the opportunity to volunteer at OSEP, a program for children with special needs and their siblings. The OSEP program provides a safe place twice a month for children with special needs with their siblings, allowing parents a few hours to relax and have an evening out. Most parents of children with special needs can't find babysitters willing to care for their children, so OSEP offers parents a chance to take a little break.
