Hamlet's behavior throughout the story has mostly been about how he can accomplish what he wants to do with Claudius, which is to kill him as soon as possible. Sometimes we make bad decisions that we are completely aware of, but sometimes we might have the wrong idea about something that is unnecessary or unethical, such as accidentally killing a friend who is mistakenly his uncle or shooting a civilian who was also mistaken for having a weapon but in reality it was a wallet. As Gladwell mentioned in Blink, we rely on thin slicing because the first two seconds are delicate. We can all identify with this situation because we make unnecessary or unethical decisions about something that we are completely unaware of.
