Exploitation in today's world is a big problem as there are different types of exploitation. Trafficking, exploited labor and slavery are the three main types of exploitation. Money is the main reason why exploitation exists in the world today. The only way to end exploitation in today's world is for poverty and greed to end. I will talk further about all these topics to show how bad exploitation is and how there are not many ways to stop it. Trafficking and sweatshop labor are the most common forms of exploitation in the United States today. Trafficking occurs when a poor individual is offered job opportunities to make money and is convinced that these opportunities are a good job. So the poor man agrees to work and is then forced to work as a prostitute, mistreated worker or servant. Sweatshop labor occurs in the corporate environment today and is when the average businessman works around the clock for his company and receives no career advancement or raises, but the CEO is getting richer and richer. In both of these cases of exploitation, there is a person who gets rich or makes a lot of money thanks to someone else doing all the work. Trafficking is a problem for the world because not only does it do nothing to help poverty around the world, it makes it worse. These poor people trying to make a living and work to be poor have their money taken from them or don't even make enough money to get out of poverty, which keeps poverty rates low. Exploited labor in corporations is also just as bad for the world because the economy is not strengthened by corporate CEOs getting richer. The economy would be much stronger if the millions earned by these CEOs were split up and distributed to the employees who do all the work. The economy suffers from both human trafficking and exploited labor by companies. Slavery is the other type of exploitation the world is encountering today. Although today all countries in the world have made it illegal to own and exercise total control over another human being, slavery is still a major problem in the world. Slavery today is not like it used to be. Today slavery is even worse.
