One thing in particular that I remember was audio sets of books being read aloud to me as I followed along, and I hated it. I remember feeling frustrated when I couldn't follow as quickly as the voice read, and I couldn't stop if I had questions like my mother did. My favorite part was reading the flashcards with my mom because if I got all the words right, I usually got a reward which I always worked for. So even though I only remember bits and pieces of when I learned to read, overall I think it was good
