Statistics show that the use of computers is increasing in almost all aspects of life and this has made computers one of the favorite items not only in the daily lives of adults but even in that of children. Computers are the most sophisticated human-made thinking tools ever designed, and computer technology has played an important role in our daily lives. It is exposed to children frequently and even daily, however this raises questions about the positive impacts it has on them. There is always discussion about the importance of children using computers more frequently. This is largely due to the fact that computers are used as an essential tool to supplement children's education and make their learning process easier and more enjoyable. However, since childhood is an integral stage that has shaped the development of younger generations, some believe that overuse can affect their development. The use of computer technology at this stage reshapes the physical and mental state of children in different and profound ways. Critics have said that technology in schools, especially computers, wastes time, money and childhood itself by speeding up the pace and reducing essential learning experiences. (Cordes & Miller, 2000; Healy, 1998) In addition to this, children may often become interested in engaging games easily available on the Internet, thus losing interest in studies. This is why children, especially in kindergarten, should not be exposed to computer technology until the end of the educational process, because computers often distract young students from learning the basics, or cause them to the basics are done by computers. I personally think that the negative impacts due to the daily use of computers far outweigh its benefits. First of all, how......middle of paper......and to understand and discover the world around them. For example, in school, subjects that were once considered boring and have lost children's attention once again become refreshing, interactive and engaging. Simply put, there is a very distinctive line between the pros and cons of children. in information technology. Even as young adults become increasingly “technologically sophisticated” (Becker 69), the negative effects will continue to severely harm children without guidance. Computer technology is just a tool, it actually depends on other factors, whether it serves to cause harm or improve children's lives depends on how it is used. Therefore, society, parents and authorities must help minimize the negative effects and fully exploit the positive effects of the use of computer technology in children's lives..
